Mark Manoly

Mark Manoly is a seasoned industry leader with more than 25 years of experience in account and program management. He has a proven track record of guiding global, multi-phase clinical trials and providing strategic leadership for complex, high-profile programs.

He is widely recognized as an expert in pain and analgesia research, with long term relationships with site networks conducting clinical trials in Pain, CNS and Rheumatology. Mark has extensive experience leading global clinical programs, and he has successfully overseen clinical trials in a broad range of indications, including post-operative and acute pain models such as dental extraction, bunionectomy, abdominoplasty, and total knee arthroplasty, as well as chronic pain conditions such as osteoarthritis, diabetic neuropathy, low back pain, cancer pain, and chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain. He has also contributed to research in fibromyalgia, chronic migraine, and numerous neurological diseases. Through this hands-on experience, Mark has gained a deep understanding of the challenges associated with complex study designs, placebo response, and accurate pain reporting, enabling him to effectively partner with sponsors to proactively address and overcome them.

Over the course of his career, Mark has advanced through roles of increasing responsibility at Premier Research and Rho, Inc., most recently serving as Associate Vice President of Project Delivery. In these roles, he has led and mentored project managers and directors, empowering them to oversee cross-functional global teams and consistently achieve client satisfaction. Earlier in his career, Mark worked at GlaxoSmithKline, where he gained valuable experience in data sciences and clinical documentation that built the foundation for his leadership in clinical trial delivery.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public History from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
